MDEAT Rehabilitation Assistance Program (RAP)

About This Program

The Miami-Dade Economic Advocacy Trust Rehabilitation Assistance Program provides up to $50,000 in 0% interest forgivable loans for low-to-moderate income homeowners to fund roofing, plumbing, HVAC, and other structural repairs. The program received an additional $2 million infusion in 2025. Applications can be submitted digitally and the loan is forgiven after 15 years of owner-occupancy.

Loan carries no interest and requires no payments. Becomes forgivable after 15 years if owner-occupied, not refinanced, and ownership not transferred.
