Nashville's Property Tax Freeze program allows qualifying homeowners age 65 and older to freeze the property tax amount due on their primary residence at the level of the year they qualify, even if tax rates increase in future years. Income limits apply (must be at or below the county threshold). Once frozen, the tax amount remains fixed until the property is sold or transferred.
