MDHA administers HUD Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds for Nashville homeowners affected by federally declared disasters. Nashville received $8.5 million for the 2021 tornado and flooding disaster (DR-4601), focused on unmet needs in ZIP code 37211. HUD also announced new flexibility for Tennessee following the January 2026 severe winter storm disaster declaration.
