About This Program

MDHA administers the federally funded Weatherization Assistance Program for Davidson County, providing free energy efficiency upgrades to low-income households at or below 200% of the federal poverty level. Services include attic insulation, air sealing, caulking, weather-stripping, and duct sealing to reduce energy costs and improve home comfort. Households with elderly, disabled, or young children receive priority service.

Fully free service, no repayment required. Average value of work is approximately $6,500.
