About This Program

Rebuilding Together Nashville's Safe & Healthy Home Improvement Program (SHHIP) provides free critical home repairs to low-income older adults (60+), veterans, and persons with disabilities in the Greater Bordeaux and Dickerson Pike Corridor communities. Homeowners sign a 5-year forgivable lien for the value of repairs, which is forgiven if they remain in the home. Single-family, free-standing homes only; households must be current on mortgage, taxes, and insurance.
