THDA Emergency Repair Program (ERP)

About This Program

THDA's Emergency Repair Program provides non-repayable grants up to $24,999 to elderly (60+) or disabled Tennessee homeowners for critical emergency repairs including roofs, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, septic, and accessibility modifications. The grant does not require a property lien and has no compliance period. Applications are currently closed; THDA expects to accept new applications beginning August 2026.

Pure grant — no repayment or lien required. Apply through your local ERP agency, not directly through THDA.
