About This Program

LIHEAP provides seasonal energy bill assistance to low-income Oklahoma households, covering winter heating (up to $500) and summer cooling (up to $650) costs. An Energy Crisis Assistance Program (ECAP) is available year-round for households facing utility shutoff or equipment failure. Administered by the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, benefits are applied directly to eligible utility accounts.
