About This Program

Funded by the Inflation Reduction Act through Arizona's Governor's Office of Resiliency, Efficiency Arizona's HEAR program launched in February 2025 and provides rebates up to $14,000 per household for energy-efficient upgrades. Households at or below 80% AMI receive 100% of project cost covered; households at 80–150% AMI receive 50% of project cost. Eligible upgrades include heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, heat pump dryers, electric cooking appliances, insulation, air sealing, and electrical panel/wiring upgrades. Eligibility capped at 150% AMI.

Program launched February 2025 using federal IRA funds. Access through participating contractors listed at efficiencyarizona.com. HOMES whole-home rebate program expected to launch late 2025.
