About This Program

Funded by a $7.7 million HUD award, this grant covers free lead-based paint hazard evaluation and removal by certified Oregon contractors in pre-1978 Portland homes. Owner-occupied homes must house or frequently host a child age 5 or under. Rental properties must prioritize families with young children.

Average grant ~$8,000; larger hazard scopes may qualify for more from the $7M+ HUD award
