About This Program

Duke Energy's Smart $aver program offers residential customers rebates for qualifying energy-efficiency upgrades. As of January 2025, HVAC/heat pump and insulation incentives increased to $500 each; income-qualified customers may receive up to $8,000 for HVAC replacement and $1,500 for refrigerator replacement. Pool pump rebates tripled to $900. Smart thermostat enrollment bonuses up to $150 upfront plus $50/year are also available.
