About This Program

Energy Saver NC, launched in January 2025, provides IRA-funded home energy rebates to North Carolina residents. The HOMES program offers rebates up to $8,000 for whole-home energy improvements achieving 20%+ savings. The HEAR program provides up to $14,000 for income-qualified households (at or below 80% AMI) for electrification upgrades including heat pump HVAC ($8,000), heat pump water heaters ($1,750), and insulation/air sealing ($1,600).
