NC Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP)

About This Program

The NC Weatherization Assistance Program provides free energy-efficiency improvements to income-eligible households, including insulation, air sealing, HVAC improvements, and health and safety repairs at no cost to the homeowner. In Wake County, the program is administered by Resources for Seniors. Priority is given to elderly, disabled residents, and families with children. Both owners and renters (with landlord permission) may apply.
