About This Program

Rocky Mountain Power's Wattsmart Homes program offers cash rebates to Utah residential customers on qualifying energy-efficient equipment. As of February 27, 2026, the program was updated to include new offerings for appliances, heat pumps, weatherization, and multifamily measures. Key rebates: up to $2,000 for ground-source heat pumps, $1,800 for air-source heat pumps, $550 for heat pump water heaters.

Rebates paid as checks after qualifying installation. Landlords who pay the utility bill for rental properties also qualify. Contact RMP for current rebate schedule.
