Utah Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP)

About This Program

Utah's Weatherization Assistance Program provides free energy efficiency improvements to income-qualified households. In Salt Lake City, the program is administered by Utah Community Action (UCA), serving Salt Lake, Tooele, Davis, Weber, and Morgan Counties. Eligible measures include insulation, air sealing, HVAC upgrades, weather-stripping, and window repairs. HEAT Program participants are automatically eligible.

Free services; average job value approximately $4,500–$8,000 per household. Priority given to elderly, disabled, and households with young children.
