About This Program

San Diego County uses HUD HOME Investment Partnerships Program funds to provide deferred loans and grants for substantial owner-occupied rehabilitation in unincorporated areas and participating cities. HOME funds can be used for a wider range of improvements than CDBG, including major structural rehabilitation, accessibility modifications, and energy improvements. Income must be at or below 80% AMI.
