LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) helps low-income households pay their energy bills, including SDG&E bills, and may also provide funds for furnace/heater repair or replacement in crisis situations. In San Diego, the program is administered through the County HHSA or designated community agencies. Benefits can be applied to gas, electric, or combined utility bills.
