The Solar Advantage program (Disadvantaged Communities Green Tariff) provides a 20% discount on electricity bills for up to 20 years for customers in CalEnviroScreen-designated disadvantaged communities, without requiring rooftop solar. Power comes from local small-scale solar projects located in or within 5 miles of eligible neighborhoods. Check the SDCP eligibility map to see if your address qualifies.
