About This Program

The Family Electric Rate Assistance (FERA) program provides an 18% discount on electricity bills for SDG&E residential customers who don't qualify for CARE but whose household of 3 or more has income between 200–250% of the federal poverty level. FERA is available to renters and homeowners with active SDG&E accounts and provides ongoing monthly savings.
