About This Program

San Diego homeowners can participate in Net Energy Metering (NEM) or the Solar Billing Plan (SBP) through SDG&E, receiving bill credits for excess solar energy exported to the grid. San Diego Community Power offers additional incentives for installing home battery storage with a new or existing solar system to lower upfront costs and earn ongoing incentives. Homeowners can also pair federal tax credits for further savings.

Available to SDG&E customers in SDG&E service territory; combine with IRS 30% Residential Clean Energy Credit (Form 5695) for solar and battery
