About This Program

Power of Home provides grants up to $50,000 to replace gas appliances with high-efficiency electric alternatives in single-family owner-occupied homes. Eligible upgrades include heat pumps for heating/cooling, heat pump water heaters, electric stoves, and electric dryers. Applicants must have had weatherization work completed within the previous 7 years.

Grant paid directly to contractors. Must have prior weatherization within 7 years. Lower income threshold than Healthy Homes (50% vs. 80% AMI).
