The Florida WAP provides free energy-efficiency improvements to low-income homes in Tampa and Hillsborough County through local community action agencies. A whole-house energy audit determines services including insulation, air sealing, weatherstripping, and HVAC improvements. Priority is given to households with elderly members (60+), disabled residents, or children under 12.
Services are provided at no cost; no cash benefit paid directly to homeowner. Average value approximately $6,500.
