About This Program

The VA Specially Adapted Housing (SAH) grant helps veterans with qualifying service-connected disabilities adapt or purchase a home to meet disability-related needs. The SAH grant provides up to $121,812 (FY2025) for major adaptations; the Special Housing Adaptation (SHA) grant provides up to $24,405 for lesser modifications. The Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System serves Tucson-area veterans.
