City of Austin – Austin Water
Austin Water offers free plumbing inspections and identifies leak issues for residential customers. Homeowners with detected leaks or faulty private sewer laterals may be referred to Austin Water's Private Lateral Grant Program (separate entry) for funded repairs. Austin Water also provides free water-saving devices — showerheads, faucet aerators — through the Customer Portal at no cost.
