About This Program

Harris County's Home Repair Program addresses health and safety hazards in homes owned and occupied by low-income residents in unincorporated Harris County and cooperative cities. For minor repairs, grants of up to $20,000 are available to homeowners who are 62 or older or have a documented disability. In designated revitalization areas, up to $80,000 is available for major rehabilitation and up to $135,000 for full reconstruction.
