About This Program

When a presidentially declared disaster is declared for Duval County, USDA Rural Development can increase Section 504 grant limits from $10,000 to $15,000 and combined loan/grant limits from $50,000 to $55,000 for eligible very-low-income homeowners. The program helps rural homeowners rebuild and remove health and safety hazards after disasters. Homeowners in USDA-eligible areas of Duval County should contact USDA Rural Development promptly after any disaster declaration.
