About This Program

California's Mortgage Relief Program (federally funded Homeowner Assistance Fund) provided grants of up to $80,000 to help homeowners who fell behind on mortgage payments, property taxes, or HOA dues due to COVID-19-related financial hardship. While primary funding rounds have closed, residual funding may still be available for some applicants. Check the CalHFA website for current status.
