About This Program

California's Mortgage Relief Program (federally funded Homeowner Assistance Fund) provided grants of up to $80,000 to help homeowners who fell behind on mortgage payments, property taxes, or HOA dues due to COVID-19-related financial hardship. While primary funding rounds have closed, residual funding may still be available for some applicants. Check the CalHFA website for current status. Income must be at or below 150% of the Area Median Income.
