About This Program

Tampa's HDAP provided three tiers of SHIP-funded hurricane disaster relief: Insurance Deductible Assistance (up to $10,000), Mortgage Assistance (up to $5,000), and Cost of Repair Assistance (up to $20,000). Funded with $3.2 million for hurricane recovery from Helene and Milton. The pre-application period is closed; future rounds will be announced at tampa.gov.

Grant funds; no repayment required. Three separate assistance types may be stacked in some cases.
