Tampa Electric offers rebates to residential customers who replace old HVAC systems with qualifying energy-efficient units. Tier 1 pays $40 per unit (≥15.2 SEER2) and Tier 2 pays $550 per unit (≥16.2 SEER2). Both heat pumps and mini-splits qualify. The contractor typically deducts the rebate from the customer's invoice and applies directly to TECO.
