Habitat for Humanity DC & Northern Virginia partners with the DC Department of Aging and Community Living (DACL) to provide critical home repairs at no cost to low-income homeowners in Washington, DC. Priority is given to seniors, persons with disabilities, veterans, and families with children. Repairs focus on health, safety, and accessibility. Household income must be at or below 80% AMI.

Critical repairs vary widely; typical Habitat repair projects range $5,000–$25,000 in donated labor and materials.
