About This Program

The DC VA Medical Center assists Veterans in navigating federal housing grants (SAH, SHA, HISA, TRA) and connects them to local DC programs. The Prosthetics & Sensory Aids Service processes HISA grant applications, while the Social Work Service can link veterans to DHCD and DACL programs. Veterans experiencing housing instability may also qualify for the HUD-VASH rental voucher program.
