About This Program

Eversource and National Grid offer Arrearage Management Programs (AMP) that allow income-eligible customers with past-due balances to have their arrears forgiven over 12 months of on-time payments. For every month a customer pays their current bill on time, a portion of their past-due balance is forgiven. This combines with the low-income discount rate to provide significant ongoing utility cost relief.

Past-due balance forgiven 1/12th per month of on-time payment over 12 months. Income limit: 60% SMI. Must be enrolled in low-income rate program. Call your utility to enroll.
