About This Program

TDHCA's Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF), funded by the American Rescue Plan Act, helps Texas homeowners who experienced COVID-related financial hardships pay mortgage arrears, property taxes, HOA fees, insurance, utilities, and certain home repairs to prevent foreclosure. Funds are limited and programs may be paused pending available funding. Income must be at or below 150% AMI.

Up to $65,000 per household across eligible expense categories; actual award depends on documented arrears.
