About This Program

Groundwork Jacksonville's home repair program serves low-to-moderate income homeowners in North Riverside, Mixon Town, and Lackawanna neighborhoods (north of I-10 along McCoys Creek). The program provides comprehensive free repairs including cool roofs, structural work, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mold remediation, and exterior improvements. Priority is given to veterans, disabled residents, seniors, and families with children under 18. Funded by the Bezos Earth Fund, United Way of Northeast Florida, and other foundations.

Strictly geographic — limited to North Riverside, Mixon Town, and Lackawanna neighborhoods (Beaver St / I-10 / I-95 / Thompson St boundaries)
