About This Program

Arizona's LIHEAP program provides energy bill assistance to low-income households by making payments directly to utility companies (including TEP, Southwest Gas). Both heating and cooling assistance are available. Crisis assistance is also available for emergency shutoffs. Note: federal LIHEAP funding faced cuts in 2025; check current status with AZ DES.
