About This Program

DOEE's DC Partnership for Healthy Homes provides holistic home environmental assessments and hazard mitigation for families with children under age 6 or pregnant members. Case managers address mold, peeling paint, lead, asbestos, pest infestation, poor ventilation, and fall hazards. In select cases, DOEE provides up to $7,000 directly for hazard mitigation work. All participants receive education and referrals to additional funding sources.
