About This Program

DC DHCD's Emergency Repair Program provides assistance to income-qualified homeowners for urgent health and safety repairs including HVAC, roofing, electrical, and plumbing failures. The Home Purchase Assistance Program (HPAP) and Single Family Residential Rehabilitation Program (SFRRP) also provide broader repair and purchase assistance. DC's high AMI limits make more homeowners eligible.
